Directions
From the south, east and west: Turn off US Route 4 onto River Road (at Municipal Offices Sign located near the "little white church"). The Johnson Recreation Center is about 2 miles down the road on your left.
From the north: Turn left off Rt 100 onto River Road (at Municipal Offices Sign across the street from Colton Pond and the golf course). The Johnson Recreation Center is about 3 miles down the road on your right.

Family Season Pass: Killington residents & second homeowners: Free, Non-Resident: $65 Family of 4
Season Pass: Non-Residents Adult: $30, Individual Non-Resident Child: $15
Daily Pass: Killington residents & second homeowners: Free, Non-Residents: $4 Adults and $2 Kids 12 and under  

To pay, please bring a check or cash to at the beginning of your visit to the town pool.

Killington homeowners & residents please bring a valid ID when you first come to the pool and you will be assigned a season pass number. Those with out-of-state drivers licences will be checked against the Grand List; no other documentation is required.

Pool Hours
  • Adult lap swim is Monday-Friday 11:15 am to 12:00 PM.
  • Public swim is Monday-Thursday 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM and Friday-Sunday 11:15 AM to 7 PM. 
  • Pool will be open and free to all on July 4, 2022.  
  • The Killington Rec Summer Camp will use the pool for open swim Monday - Friday from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. The pool is also open to the public at this time. 
  • There is a home swim meet on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. The pool will close at 3:00 PM for the event. 

Killington Sharks Swim Team Program
Our Killington Sharks swim team is a summer competitive swim team offering coaching and technique instruction for ages 5 - 18 years old. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability. In conjunction with the Town of Killington Recreational Department, this "Parent Run" summer activity provides fun and competition for our athletes. Special needs/accessibility
Johnson Recreational Pool offers an handicap accessible chair. The battery is kept in the lifeguard room fully charged always. Simply request it at the lifeguard stand and a lifeguard will operate the chair to assist the individual.  

Unwritten Rules to the Pool
  • No double jumps on the diving board.
  • Only one one (1) person on the diving board at a time.
  • After jumping off the diving board, please swim one (1) of the the designated ladders. Don't swim to the wall that's hovering over the diving board.
  • Don't jump in the deep end when individuals are using the diving board. Please wait until nobody is using the diving board.
  • Don't push individuals into the pool.   

Mission Statement
The mission of the Herbert I. Johnson Recreation Center Pool is to provide a fun, safe, and recreational environment where individuals can practice fitness, develop friendships, and experience a wide variety of aquatic activities under the supervision of our lifeguard staff.
