Full Moon Snowshoe 2021

Enjoy the enchantment of the full moon during an evening guided hike on the Sherburne Trails. Feel refreshed by the crisp night air and the expansive night sky.
This hike will be approximately 2.6 miles long and takes place on lightly sloping natural terrain across uneven surfaces. Please bring a headlamp, dress for the weather, and wear appropriate footwear. Trekking poles optional.
Snowshoes are available for lending for free at the Sherburne Memorial Library, or at other local businesses including First Stop Board Barn, Aspen East, Black Dog Sports, and Northern Ski Works.

Where: Sherburne Trails parking lot, 1756 VT Route 100, Killington
When: Friday, January 29 at 6:45 PM (Cancelled due to weather)
Saturday, February 27 at 6:45 PM
Cost: FREE, maximum 10 spaces available
Anyone considering participation should have the fitness to complete the hike, and always use caution while walking outdoors. For those requiring an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
COVID-19 Notice: Masks are required for all program participants, with the exception of those younger than 2 years old and those with a medical condition or disability that prevents them from wearing one, per state guidelines. Participants should only attend if they are healthy, have not been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, and/or have not recently traveled from a location with an ACCD-issued travel advisory. Prior to participation, a self-certification will be emailed to each participating household.
Please maintain 6 feet of distance between other households. Any dogs in attendance must be leashed.
